The Outside of Neverland Coffee Bar in North Miami

Restaurant Hours/Style

Neverland Coffee Bar is open from 8 am to 11 pm, Monday through Sunday. It follows a typical "Order, eat, pay" setup for dining in. Alongside their impressive coffee and tea selections, Neverland Coffee Bar offers a variety of delectable options, including croissants, bagels, salads, pizzas, and more.

Atmosphere: 5/5

Neverland Coffee Bar creates a cozy and intimate café-style ambiance. Its charming setting is perfect for romantic date nights or as a quaint spot for writers and novelists to find inspiration while enjoying a delicious meal. While I was there, I also noticed a couple with their children, indicating that it can be a welcoming place for families, particularly during the daytime. As the evening approaches, the establishment transforms into a social hub, complete with a DJ spinning lively EDM and Social Hour styled music.

Cleanliness of Both Dining Area and Bathroom (If Available): 4/5

The dining area at Neverland Coffee Bar is primarily outdoors, tucked away in a delightful hideaway nestled behind two adjacent buildings—the coffee shop itself (Neverland) and a charming pink-themed dessert spot named Lolita Dessert Club. Although this setup exposes the dining area to the elements, during my visit, I found all the unoccupied tables to be clean and ready for guests.

The establishment also offers a unisex single-occupant bathroom, which was tidy and well-maintained during my visit.

Attentiveness of Staff: 4/5

Throughout my time at Neverland Coffee Bar, there were ample staff members available to assist and serve. I appreciated the unhurried approach when it came to taking orders. It seemed as though the staff allowed guests to peruse the menu without interruption until they were ready to order. However, some may interpret the wait as slightly neglectful on the servers' part.

The first staff member who approached me to inquire about my order was exceptionally kind and even shared a few personal recommendations from the menu, which I found to be a thoughtful touch.

Food Quality/Taste: 5/5

I opted for the Brunch Croissant, a delightful sandwich consisting of a soft and flaky croissant layered with Scrambled Eggs, Kosher-Style Bacon (Turkey Bacon), Fontina Cheese, Avocado, and Chives. The combination resulted in a mouthwatering treat that was not overly salty or greasy. It's an excellent choice for first-timers who prefer a lighter and more balanced meal. The menu at Neverland Coffee Bar leans towards healthier options, which is certainly a bonus for health-conscious diners.

To accompany my croissant, I selected the Miami Iced Tea—a refreshing blend of Green Tea garnished with mint and lemon, infused with a light touch of passion fruit juice or syrup. It's a delightful beverage that you can leisurely sip on throughout your meal, offering a perfect balance of flavors without being overly sweet.

Offputs

One thing to note is the sound of passing trains since the location is situated near a track. During my visit, trains went by approximately every 15 to 20 minutes. While some might find it charming or part of the overall experience, others may prefer a quieter atmosphere.

As the dining area is primarily outdoors, it's worth mentioning that there is a potential for exposure to mosquitoes and other insects. This is something to consider, especially for those who are sensitive to such pests.

If you are looking for a place to eat that is better suited for big parties with big appetites, don't hesitate to take a trip further up to Ft. Lauderdale to give Milk Money Bar a try!
