It's important to note that dining here means sharing the space with free-roaming roosters and chickens, so if you're not fond of animals, this may not be the ideal place for you.

Considering the outdoor setting, Blue Heaven maintains a clean environment to the best of its ability. Each table is equipped with an umbrella to minimize debris from trees. However, flies can be a nuisance at times.

The server we had was energetic and knowledgeable about the menu, including the daily specials. She offered helpful recommendations and provided detailed descriptions of each dish we inquired about. The staff consistently ensured we stayed hydrated in the heat by regularly refilling our water glasses. They also promptly cleared unnecessary plates, cups, and utensils from the table, creating space for any additional orders.

The food at Blue Heaven Key West received positive reviews from our table, although some felt the portions could have been slightly more substantial and the flavors could have been enhanced. Notably, the pancakes, which are a popular choice, did not disappoint. It's important to mention that if you visit during breakfast hours, there may be a wait both for seating and for the arrival of your food. Please note that pancakes are only available until noon, but the rest of the breakfast menu remains available thereafter.
The freshly squeezed orange juice is a standout with its genuine fruit flavor, although personal preferences for sweetness or tartness may vary.

Given the outdoor setting, insects are to be expected, but it would be beneficial for the establishment to demonstrate efforts to mitigate the presence of flies for the comfort of its patrons.
